The Quartz Crystal is 22” piece created by Lauren through her Love and Dots Membership. This piece appealed to me not only because of its intricate adornment of rhinestones and mirrors but its 12 pointed star beautifully faceted amongst the middle of the piece. This piece pulled my out of my comfort zone quickly as this was my second major mandala painting using mostly brush strokes.
Shout out to Lauren Saunders, owner and creator of Love and Dots, for creating such a beautifully balanced piece for her students to recreate. Her work is truly inspirational and I would consider her a mentor. I learned everything I know from her courses and step-by-step tutorials.
