Modern Outlaw began with a simple challenge to myself: to approach a mandala differently than I ever had before. Rather than starting with my usual patterns, I looked to one of nature's simplest forms, a single leaf, and allowed it to become the foundation for everything that followed.

Instead of planning every detail, I trusted the creative process and let each layer guide the next. As the design unfolded, the piece developed a character that felt both bold and refined. Strong geometric movement is balanced by a restrained palette and subtle embellishments, creating a sense of quiet confidence.

Unlike many of my other works, Modern Outlaw relies only on mirrors and delicate touches of dimensional paint. The simplicity of these details allows light to become part of the artwork itself, changing gently throughout the day and revealing new reflections from different angles.
